Translation is never a mechanical task. It is careful, demanding work — often a solitary wrestling with meaning. One must discern not only the most faithful way to convey a concept, but also the most fitting cultural language through which that concept can live and breathe. Every text requires sensitivity to nuance, rhythm, context, and the intellectual world behind the words.

While translation can be a lonely craft, I am grateful that I do not labor alone. I am supported by three remarkable women who serve as my co-translators, proofreaders, and editors. As a team, we approach translation collaboratively, critically, and prayerfully. Our process includes layered proofreading, conceptual review, and cultural contextualization — ensuring that each text is both intellectually sound and linguistically resonant.

We are currently praying and planning toward establishing our own translation company, grounded in the philosophy and work ethic of SalinDiwa. Our vision is not merely to provide quality translations for Filipinos, but to contribute to the intellectual and creative flourishing of the Filipino language — especially in the fields of Theology, Philosophy, and Christian ministry.

We believe that Filipinos possess a uniquely powerful way of expressing truth — a way that is thoughtful, poetic, and deeply rooted in the language of the soul. Through our national language, Tagalog, profound ideas can be articulated with clarity, depth, and beauty. Our goal is not only to translate texts, but to help shape a culture of careful thinking and rich expression in Filipino scholarship.
